The Legendary KLZE
Out with the old and good looking and in with the new and powerful. During the summer of 09 I will be doing the mirror polish on the new ZE as well as powdercoating the valve covers. Headers and exhaust are also being added the Mazda in the summer. I'm thinking Borla and a high flow cat, any suggestions would be great.

This is what my valve covers looked like after cleaning them up the best I could. I took them off and got dad to sandblast them and then painted them, the paint I used was not very good, after a few months some spots where the wires touched wreaked the paint. When I do the this on my new ZE covers I will be using better paint.
I didn't even realize how bad the valve covers used to look until I saw them after. I will be doing the exact same thing for my ZE covers with the polished letters.
I saw a tutorial on www.mx6.com about how to mirror polish the manifold. It is well worth the 25 hours or so of polishing you need to do.
My manifold when I first bought the car and after I did the mirror polish.
Engine bay when I first bought the car and once all my engine work was complete.
