KLZE swap in progress, pictures when complete!!!

This page shows the engine work that I have completed on the car, it shows the before and after pictures and shows the things that I am doing to the engine as well as what I want to do...

So this is what they valve covers looked like before...and that was as good as I could clean them up when I got it. So...took them off, dad sandblasted them and we painted them with some special heat resistant engine paint we ordered in...and finally...

I didn't even realize how bad the valve covers used to look until I saw the before and after pictures...quite the difference!

I saw a tutorial on www.mx6.com(an amazing website for anyone who wants to learn something about their MX-6) about how to mirror polish the manifold. Well...I got it off and looked at it and said that I was not even going to try. So it tried this little area on the back and after about an hour of working on that tiny spot I thought...I can do this. Twenty-five hours later I could finially see myself! Anyone who wants to do this...it's ALOT of work, but well worth it in the end...just get the right supplies and sit down and go...if anyone wants to know how to do it...just message me. Also, a before and after close up of the manifold.

Finally...a before and after with everything assembled, and also, the new manifold decal that says 'V6 DOHC 24 Valve' is on it's way.

This is just an shot of the engine, showing off my mirrored manifold and valve covers with everything put back together and running perfectly.
