Here is my 2004 Kia Optima EX V6. Still a work in progress.

Tuminatuh's 2004 Kia Optima

Current mods include a custom short-ram intake, OBX ceramic headers, 2.5" exhaust (w/ resonator),  NGM light-weight crank pulley, front strut brace, Ultra Racing 19" rear anti-sway bar, Ultra Racing front-lower and mid tie-bars, H&R sport springs, 17" Enkei EDR9 wheels (not pictured), Kumho Ecsta MX 215/45R17 tires (not pictured), and a Stage 1 weight reduction (light-weight battery, and remove the tire/kit when needed). My car has been mostly de-badged and given a KDM Kia rear emblem and a 2.7 Elisa badge since my engine is the 2.7 engine from the Tuscani Elisa (Tiburon GT).

Mods coming soon: Alpine Stage 0 supercharger, KYB GR2 gas shocks (stocks are shot), Blizzak LM-60 tires (for winter), steel-braided brake lines, and bigger brakes.

I am trying to make my car a sleeper car.  Not many people expect for a Kia Optima to be able to out-grip a sports car... I don't plan on racing it or anything (I'm into Cat and Mouse Touge on the local mountain roads)... but knowing that my car can take on most of the cars around my town (especially once I supercharge) makes me happy.

Let me know what you guys think! I can also be found at streetkiaz.com where I can give custom mod advise.

New pics (mainly to show my new wheels) coming soon.

Thanks for viewing!

Let me know if you find a way to move the belt out of the way for the ABS module. XmenMR hasn't been on for a long time to answer my question. He put on an extra pulley somewhere above the alternator pulley, but I have no idea how he has it mounted on there.

I REALLY need to update my page... I have had new wheels for a while (Black 17" Enkei EDR9's), I have a thicker rear anti-sway bar, lower tie bars, and I'm about to supercharge. So, yeah, new pics and page update coming soon!

Nice ride, I see that there are a few of us out there that want our cars to be able to keep up with those other cars. How hard was it to build the custom exhaust? Any tips for a good muffler?
