I actually have seen AmyZing's car. I went to look at it when it was for sale right around the time she inherited it(I also live in Jacksonville).

I aquired the EXACT same pictures she has posted from a friend of mine a few years ago(before she even was on here!). I still have them. I also have a brochure from the company that built them.

I'ver personally seen 3 of these cars, yours makes 4. Evidently they did a few Daytona's also becuase there was one for sale on e-bay a few years ago in Georgia. From what I found out they did make them all the way through '86, but production was VERY limited. There used to be a gold one here in Jacksonville too, but to my knowledge nobody's seen it in a long time. the number for production that I've been able to get was around 500. I don't know if that was total or for different years.

I'm looking to get one at some point, and if I find one and can scrounge the money up I WILL get it!

dam!! a convertible. never saw one. i have an'84 too. 49,000 on mine bought it brand new. check it out when you can
