Hi Mike, how are you its been a while since Ive been on line I don't know of anybody that will cut the springs on your truck; you need a manual. What I did was put the truck on stands removed the front wheels remove the shock and remove the lower traction bar from both sides then place a rolling jack under one of the a arms "you can put a rope or chain around the spring to keep it from flying but my experience is the cup was so long i didnt use one" and lift with just a little pressure to relieve tension on the ball joint remove the lower ball and slide the yoke out of the way slowly let the jack down, and you can slide the spring out. I purchased a second set of springs from checkers they are better than the original just in case you mess up the stock ones. You must cut the lower part of the spring with a cutting wheel "I used a electric grinder with a cutting wheel". one full ring = a coil. I cut both springs one and one half but when I put it all back together the truck leaned so the side that was higher I had to go back and remove an additional 1/4 off that spring; the front sits even now 4.5". The rear was lifted placed jacks on the frame removed wheels one side at a time removed shock and u bars on left and lifted axel onto 4" block and bolted it down then did the same with other side. to keep from getting vibration from the drive shaft you have to reposition the differential offset to the amount you lower your truck. good luck. your friend boomer2000
