Just to let you know this truck is not finished but will be soon. This is just what me, my Dad, and my Uncle have done so far. This is the storyline of my 1956 Chevy Stepside. First I bought the truck and then got a 1985 Corvette for the Drivetrain and suspension. This is the truck that I began with, it was rough but overall in good shape. I have had the truck for a few years, but had to wait to build it. I bought it out of storage from a guy who had it in Arkansas. I wanted to take something old school and make it new school by switching out the suspension and putting in a fuel-injected engine. Was going to use a newer model Vortec but got a good deal on the 85 Vette. I drove this car into the shop. My friends thought I was crazy when I said I was going to chop it in half. I had to if I wanted the suspension. This is me and my Uncle Mike taking apart the vette front. He is a highly talented body man. Mike is helping with the body work. Just us tearing it apart.

Looking good, any updates? I love build pics. I'm building a 58 (with a 55 front clip) chevy truck, stop by and check it out.
