This is my 1931 Studebaker Commander. I resued it from a member of my car club. It had been in his barn for over twenty five years.

When I get finished its gonna look basically stock from the outside without the hood.

My second barn find that will make its way into this project is a 1953 Mercury flathead V8. It also came with a standard 3 speed and a brother, a 1949 Ford Flathead V8. They are essentially the same engine. The only difference is that the Merc has a longer stroke and therefore more horses. I think I'll hang on to the Ford for another project. This pic is of me pulling apart the merc before I shipped the block to my buddy's machine shop.
