The first ride on my page is my most current, an 08 MKV GTI. I've had this car since new and it has been a little over a year at this point. In the past I have swapped cars about once a year but this little GTI has some serious staying power. I would be lying if I told you I havent thought about switching it up but everytime I do, I cant bare to see this car go.

Recent pics of the Rieger kit installed. Fitment is great.
Removed the original pieces and the Rieger kit installs directly in its place. The splitter was a little tedious as it required some drilling prior to install. I also recommend upgrading your bolts and fasteners as the ones provided are simple screws with non locking fasteners. I opted for 1/4" stainless bolts and lock washers with locking nuts.
Overall the kit fits very well. The Rieger directions recom mend grinding down some of the plastic that lies underneath the rear bumper however i found that this was not necessary for fitement. The kit fits tight and has improved the front end feel at higher speeds (90mph+) Difficulty in installation was a 2.5 out of 5. The general garage mechanic can figure this out in a day or so. I had to let the mesh and adhesive sit over night so that i was sure it was solid before installation.
I would highly recommend this kit. I got mine from namotorsports.net. IT shipped fast and was ontime.
