This rare car was my first real plunge into classic cars at the age of 17. Though it may not look like much here, this little inline 6 would scoot with the 3 on the tree. With virtually no weight in the car, the rear tires would cut loose easily which was shocking to everyone, including myself.
I owned it exactly one week before being T-boned at an intersection in my hometown. The car was totalled and all dreams of restoring it were lost. The Rambler was eventually sold off whole to a man in Toleto, Ohio for use in restoring another classic AMC.
