PICKING IT UP JUNE 07

This is MY98 Arctic Silver Porsche Boxster. I've started with some nice and clean hacks that are ALL DIY. This upcoming warm season (next month or so) will bring more hacks in the lowering, power and car audio department. Please check them out and check back and see the progression. THANX!!!!!
LAST YEARS SETUP

AS IT SITS TODAY

MONO CHROMING & COLOR MATCHING
Ive started by color matching my rear bumperettes (DIY), side intake grills (DIY) and the roll bar will be matched shortly. I had to do the license plate frame and caps as well for the small touches. I have also installed my PCA Club Regional name "Riesentoter" onto the rear wing assembly and show it PROUDLY!!!

Before and After my DIY Paint Project...What an awesome project and a Huge $aving$

DONE!!!!! NICE TOUCH!!

DEAMBERING
Ive also begun to "De-Amber" my Boxster...Side markers and the third brake lights to start. Front and rears de-ambered soon..DONE.

PAINTED CALIPERS
I also Epoxy painted (RED) the brake calipers and had chrome "Porsche" letters created and I installed them for a clean new look.

Project COMPLETE!!

RIMS & TIRES
And I feel that my 18" TSW Montage Hyper Silver Rims wrapped in Falken 452's really add to the look and true gripping power of the car. Lowering this down on H&R Springs in the spring will help as well.Springs in process.

BADGES & CARBON FIBER....ARCTIC SILVER BEING ADDED NOW!!
My interior of the car has been outfitted with a nice amount of German Made Carbon Fiber accessories. (Shift knob, Center Council, Radio/AC surround, door pull covers, map pocket lids and of course the door sills. The steering wheel has been graced with a Genuine Porsche Badge as well. I installed a Schnell Short Shifter for quicker shifts...and I had All the gauges converted to Blue LED's and it looks AWESOME. Of course now I have to get the Alpine X001 iPod unit with Blue lights to match.

ADDED TOUCHES
Small additions include...chrome accent strips along the front intakes, color matched side intake vents and a Titanium "Boxster" badge was added to add to the mono chrome look. Wheel stems are held up with Color matched stem supports....rumor has it they bend over at really high speeds and ding your rims. HMM? Thats what Ive heard....??? I've also installed front and rear Schnell Strut Braces for additional body stiffness while moving through the twisties. Those H&R Lowering Springs will assist as well as soon as I get them in.

I have a turbo (or 2) in store for the future and other hacks to come....Thanx for your time and let me know what you think. I hope I am creating a clean good looking car. I think so!!!
