This is the almost completed 1969 bug that I started over a year ago as a restore project. I am finally able to show off the fruits of my labors....This project has been quite the learning experience for me. I have learned that I probably wont do this again in my life-time. Who would of thought it would be so much work....lol I have learned that if anything can go wrong it Will, I have learned that after market parts suck, And I have learned that I really dislike sanding, sanding, sanding for ever I was sanding....still need to wet sand to achieve the shiny glossy flawless finish....but I am waiting until the summer time... And yes the running boards are not on yet. I still have to drill out every single bolt that held those things on the car...so yes I am procrastinating... seats recovered matching door panels all in brown I think was the original color scheme.. The color I painted the car is called"Savannah Beige" Tried to keep the color closest to what was painted inside rear view can you find the spot that didnt get finished yet? My friend started to sand with the wrong paper so I have to touch up the plate over hang thing...good thing I got the color put into a spray can for touch ups

It's savanna beige (L620) isn't it? It's my next color since I'm restoring my Beetle. Cool.
