i bought this car from my buddy, Matt, who just bought a 07 Kia! haha, he didnt really know what he had, nor did he have any interest in the car. so, a long time ago i joking said, "when and if you ever sell it, you better let me know first!" and ill be damned if he didnt remember that 5 years later when that moment arrived. i felt like he gimme a good deal on it. it booked for nearly $1,300 and i got it for $650. it has brand new tires, battery, and headlight bulbs. the best piece of info i got with
the car was a log book of oil changes every 2,500 miles from 1991 up until 2001 when the car was sold to Matt's mom. a year or so later when Matt got a hold of it, it went down hill, and fast. no regular oil changes, no routine maintenance, nothing but NEGLECT! i thought about calling CPS! ya know... car protection services! BUT, he never drove the car hard, mainly cause he didnt know how. i seriously doubt the car has ever seen redline, well... besides the couple of times i had driven it in the last few years! this thing needs a lot of TLC, and i will resurrect this b13. i hate red, especially on cars, but i couldnt let that become the reason i didnt buy the car. the deciding factor always lies beneath the hood! and under there sits a sr20de! this thing is pretty spunky to start off with. so, im gonna start of slow. im gonna do the new car tune up: which consist of damn near everything engine related. definitely needs a valve cover gasket and an intake!
