Brought the big beast home. Cleaned the carb and sure enough, it stated right up. Sounds pretty good too. A little trans fluid, a little power steering fluid and bang it backed right out of the garage. Thank God the emergency brake still works, should have put a little brake fluid in it too. We are redoing the brake system this week. Then it's drivable.

hey i like your car. my dad has 2 catalinas and its definitly a tough project. weve been tryin to find someone to rebuild our 389 for like 5 years or so. this year is so hard to find and will be worth it all when you get done. keep up the good work and keep me posted...i would really like to see hte updates.. check out my 66 mustang sometime
