olds68's 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora

This photo was taken, Saturday, May 17th, 2008, the day I sold ,my Aurora.

Folks have commented to me, how much the 1995-1999 "Classic" Aurora looks like a 1996/67 Toronado.  David North, the fellow at Oldsmobile who designed the Toronado, also did the Aurora as well.

This green 1995 Olds Aurora, I had from Sunday, Oct 28, 2007 til May 17, 2008 . Sold for $700.

The picture on the green Aurora on the flatbed truck, was on Sturday, May 17, 2007, at 2pm when it left Portland, Maine .

Here is a neat post to read about the Aurora styling:

The folks who bought it  from the Mid-Coast area, also owne a 1998 Aurora, so I the car when to a good home.

166,547 miles, very clean car.#2 condition. The motor is a 4.0 V-8(244 cubic inches), 250 horsepower and 260 foot/pounds of torque. Very well maintained The Olds needs a transmission rebuild, new emergency brake cable, battery, radtior and center computer console . Oil change every 3,000 miles. . Gets 30-32 mpg on the highway, average mpg is in the mid 20s. The second owner (1997-2007), recorded notes of mileage, and mpg. For those who wish to look this car up on CARFAX.com the VIN # 1G3GR62C3S4114178. This car was sold new at Bill Dodge Olds(the car's history can also be traced through one of the Bill Dodge auto dealerships in Maine). The paint is not faded and no rips in the interior.
I am the third owner on this nice Aurora, since I aquired it on Oct 28, 2007.
This hot-rod Olds has the standard 3.48 to 1 gear ratio and "S " rated tires. Please see page two for front view and interior pictures of the 1995 Olds.
Five options this Aurora DOES NOT HAVE: 12 disc CD changer(in trunk), sunroof, block heater, heated seats and Autobahn package(3.71 gears ratio,V rated tires, stiffer supension).
I had planned on keeping the Aurora, but then in November of 2007, my old man dropped a bombshell on me, and needs to sell his 1963 Oldsmobile Starfire( he has owned it since Jan of 1989, two weeks before President Ronald Regan left office).
This car was sold on Saturday, May 17, 2008. The Olds is going to a good home, in which the new owner will be rebuilting the transmission, install a new raditor, e-brake cable, repalce the computer information console.

I always liked these cars. My grandma had one and I always thought it had that old 60's or 70's look to it.

I always like the Auroras!! When I was still in high school, many years ago, My Mom had a really nice 98 Aurora it was burgundy with the factory chrome wheels, and those things haul ass!! About a year and a half ago I found a 98 Aurora with only 98,000 miles on it in really good shape, same color as my moms old one, factory chrome wheels, only catch was it had a blown head gasket, but I only paid $700 for it and planned on fixing it, well by the time I had enough money to get it fixed I just decided to use that as a down payment on My 03 Montero Sport and ended up selling the Aurora as is for $500!! I still wish I would of got it fixed, they are really sharp looking cars!! Check out my Montero Sport and let me know what you think, also my other rides!! 5 stars for your ride
