sohckings31907's 2000 Honda Civicintro:well heres my page, its not much but updates will be posted regularly. i recently recieved my licence in 8/07 and decided to go with my version of a cleaner jdm style. i like seeing custom fabrications that are new or rare, so i try and base my ride souly on originality, so tell me how it looks so far

my honda (stock) day one $60:
first week i got the car, i did my own 5% limo black tint job. turned out pretty good for a virgin in tinting windows, no cracks, bubbles, or creases. lasted about a month till some asshole cop pulled me over and wrote me a ticket.

18inch konig unknowns with falken gr beta fk451's ($250 per wheel / $88 per tire):
i saw these at a shop the day they came out and had to get them. i was thinking about going with the si 15inch wheels but changed my mind. they cost a pretty penny but worth every cent, tires are a bitch for 18s though i later found out, but i got a good deal on discounttiredirect.com only paid 88 per tire for the fk451s, not as good as the fk452s but about 70 bucks cheaper and last just as long, great in the rain, just a lil bit noisy

tuner black finish locking lug nuts ($40):
i got tired of looking out of the window every 3 seconds to make sure my car wasn't sitting on cinder blocks. so i made my way to advance auto parts to get me some locking lug nuts. i got the single ones (one lock per wheel)at first but it didnt look right with one lock and 3 regular ones so i just went out and got the whole set. yay lol

reflective window tint($240 all around):
after getting the ticket, i went to solar eclipse and got the most border line leagal tint you can get in va 50% front and 35% back and as refective as you can go legaly

custom jdm seatcovers shipped from phillipines($300):
i went to phillipines a few months back and have been looking everywhere for jdm seat covers but never found any i liked to match the interior of my car, so i ended up finding a shop on the other side of the world to make me some custom seatcovers i had them add 2 strips of foam on the sides to make it more comfortable well worth $300

15" kicker solo baric l7($290):
ive been looking at the kicker cvrs, cvx, solox, and l5's but i got a good deal on the l7's so i had to go with them with 1000rms you can't go wrong. i didn't figure out till after i bought the sub its nearly impossible to find a 15" sub enclosure to fit in a honda civic.

custom designed and built speaker enclosure($24 high density fiber/$9 carpet/$7 silicon sealing agent/$4 fabric spray adhesive) total $44
after going everwhere and unable to find a box to match the specs of my trunk. i decided to get a custom enclosure. but every car audio shop i went to charged anywhere from $275-$420 and their suggested design wasn't what i expected. so i spent 3 days measuring and designing the perfect 3.78^3 box to fit in my trunk.

24in x 24in dynamat $30:
i acually got the wheel well dynamated after "extreme audio" told me it would eventually bore a hole though it, sorry i dont have any pics but it takes me about 30mins to uninstall and reinstall plus the box weighs a ton.

as you can see the box is specaly designed to shape like a kicker sub for maximum bass the bottom portion is hidden 6inches into the wheel well while it only exposes 9inches of the 15 inch enclosure.

kicker zx1000.1 and boston acoustic 4gauge amp kit (amp $320/kit $40):

just got an amp hooked up with 1000 rms to push the l7s, i wanted to go with 0 gauge wire but this will have to do for now. im thinking about going with some kicker components but well see what's next for this project

custom glass plated amp rack $10:

felt kinda bored with the simple design of mounting the amp to the custom box so i check out some ideas for custom amp racks and thought it would be sweet to mound one in a glass case i designed and got my friend to built it and heres what came out
