The front end is a Heidts Mustang 2 suspension. It opens up the engine bay for the 4.6L motor.
Shock towers cut out and boxing plates welded in.
Spring mounts and crossmember installed.
Crossmember with rack and motor mount towers.

Motor mount towers had to be fabricated. I had a friend who is a professional welder come over and check everything and clean up the welds to look nice (after these pics).
Engine bay was painted with epoxy primer, sealer and Nason Ful-thane, gloss black.
The mock-up motor shows that even with the shock towers gone, it's still a tight fit. Polygraphite motor mounts hold it in place!
