This is just a litt rant for all of you that have a certain idea of "JDM":
1."GT" type spoilers are not "JDM", unless you can go sideways (controlled) at 110mph
2. Oh, the green and yellow "JDM" badge means you have been driving for less than one year, and the yellow/orange badge means you are a senior citizen! Why the hell would you want this on your car? These things give special rights to the driver that posesses them. In Japan, after you graduate past one year of driving you are considered a "professional" driver. If you get in an accident with anybody that legally has one of these badges on their car, you will be held to a higher degree of responsibility than the other driver.
3. "kamikaze" bodykits are not "JDM", keep it clean people!
4. "amber/yellow" headlight bulbs are not JDM, unless you have Japanese front clip on your Integra
5. "JDM" is-- wheels tucked inches into your wheelwell, is a ridiculous offset/inset that makes people ask you how the hell those wheels fit on your car
6. "JDM" is-- an absence of an ugly aero kit
7. "JDM" is--researching parts, buying quality parts, and getting everything tuned to work together ( my $350 alignment at Cockpit will atest to this!)
I am sure that I can think of more "JDM" do's and do nots, but I would like to hear what everyone else has to say and I'll make a complete of them right here
