This vehicle was owned by my dad and mom 1993-1999, then by my dad. I am too young to remember when my parents still lived together so this vehicle has a great symbolic value for me because it is the only thing left from the time they were together.
My Olds is badly rusty. However, there are things that work fine: the original D-engine spinns like a cat and steering, brakes and AC work fine!
My dad is gonna help me with renovation, he has worked as a repairman in paperindustry and has cars as hobby. We haven?t exactly decided how car is gonna look like in the end, but there is gonna be some welding, painting and general pottering out. It should be completed 8th october 2014 when I am 18 and get, hopefully, a driving licence
Finally! The ride is mine! We have just towed my ride from my fathers former stable to my dads new home in Linkoping. Let?s give the ride a wash!
