Purple1's 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner

This is my first posting of my car.  My car is a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner.  This is the result of a six year effort, with countless dollars and hours.

I will post pictures of the restoration with more specks on the car at a later time.

These pics were taken in the fall of 2008 just before Halloween.

I have added a small clip, about 30 seconds or so just a quick walk around the car while running.

Ok so the last pic is not mopar.  But when was the last time you were standing exactly at the north poll.  This looks like Si Fi pic but it is not.

Thanks for your recent visit and rating !Well, as far as the cold air set-up, it was my idea inspired by NASCAR. Also, the Eldebrock carb I use does not like direct air forced across the top. The cowl plugs seemed like a great way to get cooler air without forcing the issue. My buddy's at http://www.forabodiesonly.com/ swore I would have fume problems, but I have been running this set-up for around a year with no problems.Keep 'er safe, Rick

Nice Roadrunner. My dad had a 69 1/2 with the 440 6 pack. He regrets giving it up back then and is trying to find one now. If you hear anything about one let me know. The answer to your question about the North Pole is: 3 years ago, just before I retired from the Navy. 5's All around
