New Update! 8/11/2008
The Rampage is still sitting waiting to be worked on next spring, my Pro. and Eclipse come first because they are in running condition. I finally have a pic of the Rampage too! so without further ado....... THE RAMPAGE!

The Rampage is finally home, I have some pics just need to get them uploaded. It wasn't too hard getting it home but she was a bit stubborn. Everytime we shifted it into another gear it stalled so thankfully we had it brought home on a trailer. It moves under it's own power but the shifter is quite sloppy so that is now on my list of things to fix. Most likely the tranny and engine are fine because once the shifter connected it was just fine. The interior is going to need a good amount of work but that will come later. The exterior is ok, theres some rust spots that need to be sanded out and have sheet metal put in certain areas while the paint needs to be redone the body is solid and so is the frame. Pics will be up one of these days!
I now have the truck paid off!!! Problem is everytime I want to get it moved to my house, it always snows like a mothertrucker, or there is freezing rain. I don't wish to move it in that kind of weather because I am looking out for the safety of my neighbor who is going to help me haul it, and since there are only two Rampages in my town in running condition that I know of I wouldn't want to risk losing this rare beast

I am adding another vehicle to my "junkyard" much to my mother's chagrin :) I am going to be buying this 1982 Dodge Rampage off of a 16 year old kid in the next month for $335. I think its a good price, there is nothing special about the car at all except the fact that it looks like Dodge took an El Camino, beat it with the ugly stick, and shrunk it in the dryer. This car used to belong to my best friend's dad but then he sold it to the current owner. The current owner then proceeded to destroy the clutch and has left it sit in his family's driveway. I asked the kid's mom and him how much it would cost to take it off their hands, they told me to make and offer and after haggling for a bit we agreed on $335. So now I have to haul it home somehow.... and find a place to store it.... but onto the car as I stated before the kid destroyed the clutch so that will have to be replaced along with the wires connecting to the battery terminals as they are frayed like no other and eventually it will get a new paint job, right now it is black with the silver paint decals fading away to nothing. I would like to bring it back to it's original color along with a roll bar along with having a friend do some custom artwork on the tailgate.
1/20/2008 Well I tried to find a garage to store the Rampage in when I got it, but sadly I am going to have to let it sit outside until I can get my parent's garage cleaned out. I also checked on the Rampage a few days ago and it was really sad to see it just sitting in the kid's backyard awaiting it's unknown fate. I have almost half the money saved up for it, college books cost waaaaaaayyy too much (three books cost me $1.63 less than what the Rampage is going to cost me):(

Update!! 2/2/2008 I almost have enough to buy the Rampage after the set back from my college books and I have finally found gotten permission from my mother to pull up part of the fence in the back yard and make a small work space for myself and the Rampage. I have also decided to not restore the car to it's original color, I was influenced by Dragonslayer7's bright green Rampage and by guisertD's Rampage also. I want to paint it bright green but I will have a local graphics shop make a vinyl decal for it.
