So here it is, day one. The car was nothing more then a $1200 beater that a Cost Guard member started puting money into but soon lost interest in. I got a steal because the guy just spent $2000 in maintanance and settled for $1200 like i menioned above.

Soon after getting the car home i drove it up to Hawks Third Gen in South Carolina and bought new carpet, fog lights, marker lights, Used IROC hood, wheels and about $900 worth of other parts to either restore or upgrade differant area's of the car. Once put together the car looked like this

A little black paint in the head light buckets and a painted IROC hood and Hawks 5inch spoiler completed the look. These same pictures show the stance i got from the 1.5 lowering spring front and back. This was it for 2007, i had to take a break and deploy to Afgahnistan for six months.

Just dropped off the car to a well known body shop today. The car had a little rust on top of the roof that will be cut out and replaced, other then that there really isn't much more body work to be done. The same shop is re-painting the car...SHOULD be done in about a month. Incase your wondering im keeping the original Flame Red Met. color for the car, ill break up the color a bit with some black accent colors but nothing too extream, i want to keep a subtle look to it.

It is a week away from being a month since I dropped off the car, i was expecting alot of work to be done by the shop by now and for them to be in the final stage of finishing up my car. Turns out they haven't even touched it yet....needless to say im pretty disappointed and will have a face to face with the owner of the shop tomorrow.

08-23-2008 The car is finally being worked on so here are the updated shots. Im pleased with the quality of work done but unpleased with how long the shop took to start working on it. They lied about the progress and mislead me into thinking they had already been working when they hadn't. I should have taken it to someone else but no one around would have been ready to work on it for another three weeks and the shop my car was at kept saying they would start on it the following week so i felt stuck. Anyways, enjoy the car SHOULD be done on Sep-2nd 08

Just got smy car back from the paint shop, i have to say im really impressed with the way it came out. The fresh coat of Flame Red Met. paint is amazing! Im really happy that i kept the stock color because it looks better then ever now. Since I de-trimmed the car now it's time for the dreaded task of putting it back together. Here are the pics I took of it the day I picked it up.... they were still finishing up the polishing when i was there.

Just put most of the car back together I still have the interior to put back in and I aslo have to adjust the Sunoco hood to fit better aswell as put the inner fender pecies in. I have a new windsheild im having installed on monday and then on tuesday the 8th ill be getting the window tinted. Here are the first pic's of the mostly completed car.

So by this time everything was put back together and shortly after the windows were tinted. I already had a unique looking 3rd gen but i wanted to add more to it to further make it something differant then you see every day. Thats when i called a company named HP and found these 19" rims that would soon be rolling the car down the street.

This is how the car sits today, and 2008 is over. I hope to bring more modification in 2009 so stay tuned. Im going to make a sick looking engine bay and upgrade the 305 with some nice aftermarket parts.
