I'm only gonna post a few pictures of the removal since it was a boring messy job anyway. Instead I'll post nice ones of the new motor going in.

.
.

I just love this part after getting the old nasty motor out. (I'm kidding) So now I have a job within a job if I want the new motor to look halfway decent sitting in there. I also pulled that stock tranny since I have a built TH350 going in there with a 3000 Stall Converter.

.

The 406 ready to go in.....
.
.

As you can see, the tunnel ram is missing. I needed to make sure the cam got broke in properly, so I went ahead and broke it in with this dual plane and a 650 double pumper.
.
.

.
.

It actually went in pretty easy considering I had no one helping me with it. The only hard part was getting that second motor mount to line up. (Driver side)
.
.

So here it is complete after the cam was broke in. Man what a monster this thing is going to be. It was so friggen loud with open headers I couldn't think straight after about 5 minutes. I love it though, it's been about 6 years since I built a nasty little small block with decent HP.
.
.

Ok, so here it is 500 miles later, (about 2 weeks worth of driving) and I decided the motor has enough time on it to go ahead and throw the Tunnel Ram on.
.
.

I just love taking things apart right after I put them together. Oh well, it makes for a clean easy job that only takes about 2 hours.
.
.

Everything's nice and clean inside so we're good to go.
.
.

And......Wah-lah!!! Looks kind of mean even just sitting there.
.
.

Here's what I see from inside the car.
.
.

And here's the first look at it without the hood.
.
.
The hood is on it now but I'm too tired to post anymore pics tonight. I'll post the "hood on" pictures I took tomorrow since it's almost 3:00 in the morning and I'm bushed.
