twiztednightmare's 1972 Plymouth Satellite

Fresh off the trailer from Fort Polk,Louisiana.(which explains why such a low-mileage car looks like it got hit by a rust grenade)

The hood is off to my shop, where it is being media blasted. It looks worse than it actually is. The engine/trans is ready to pull!

For some reason, the 440 I pulled from a motorhome has the notorious "440HP" casting code, indicating that this is a high-performance block. It looks horrible, but runs like a dream and only has 48,000 miles on it.

The 440 all cleaned up and in the car with a new .500/.500 lift Mopar Purple Cam and lifter set installed.

The Holley 650 carb fitted in place. I am still waiting on my backordered headers, otherwise I would be done already!!

Nice Satellite. Was wondering if you want to add your ride to the 71-72 Satellite registry I have set up on my page 7. Check it out when you get a chance. See ya.

sweet ride! I used to own a '78 vette myself.I hit some black ice 5 years ago and discovered that Corvettes quickly disentigrate when they hit trees, but most cars do:)
I cried like a baby when the tow trucks (yes, more than 1!) took it away.
