My 01' Explorer Sport 2wd:

If you own a 2wd X, I'm sure you've realized that no one makes a lift kit for them anymore because they are "top heavy, and unsafe to lift" -Fabtech technical support.. So, this is how I raised mine..

It currently has 9 inches of lift in the front, and 11 inches in the rear:

 - 1998-2000 Ranger body lift,

 - Torsion Twist and a Fabtech Ranger Edge spindle lift upfront

 - Axle flip, blocks, and shackles in the back

 - Pro Comp Explorer series shocks all around.

 - Lengthened driveshaft.

It can easily run 35 or 36 inch tires with this setup. Don't forget to give me some stars.

With 6 inches of lift:

New: carpet, vinyl/suede seats, paint, and 08' Ford Factory 6 disk (took alot of cutting, wiring, and body filler to make it fit)

Sweet ride you got there. I know how much time and effort it takes to get it that way. If you would like to show it off some more I have the perfect site you can go to, it's where I have my four rides displayed. http://myonlinegarage.com/signup/friend_littledog/ If you like the site then join us there sometime. It's kind of like face book but for cars. Please use littledog for your referral. See you there.
