I previously rebuilt a 1975 Bronco but sold it in November 2004. I was going insane so I had to look for another one. This is the first time I saw my 1973 Bronco. Apparantly the original owner passed away so I had a hard time figuring out what I had to work with. After he passed away, this Bronco just sat under this carport for almost 1 1/2 years! The body needs some help, but check out the next photo.

I popped the hood and found a suprise. This is a Brand New 351W Ford Racing Crate motor w/ 780 CFM Holley Carb, and Mustang shorty headers (but no exhaust). The engine is "dynoed" at the factory with 385 HP and 377 FT/LBS of torque. It was dusty and full of cobwebs, but after giving it fuel, a new optima battery, and a bath, it fired right up!

After looking at the Bronco, I made an offer on it and returned 2 days later to pick it up!

A new 3.5" James Duff suspension was sitting inside the cab waiting to be installed, so... as soon as I got it into the shop, I started ripping out the old lift and axles. I cleaned up the axles and steering components, painted everything, and started bolting on the new radius arms and front and rear springs.

Here's the new lift! So far so good...
I also had a local muffler shop run dual 2.5" forward pipes for my exhaust along with glass pack mufflers. Now I'm waiting for James Duff to ship me my Stage 2 shock hoops so I can get some shocks under this thing.

Finally got my stage 2 shock mounts installed front and rear. I flexed my suspension to measure for my new shock lengths and found that my tires were too big. Soooo... I sold my tires and bought 5 new 35" MT/R's. I also bought a new pre-runner winch bumper and a new hood scoop.

Now I need to get my new bumper and roll cage powdercoated.
