Underside has been fully sprayed with Schutz for maximum protection.
One of the worst parts, we cut it out and welded some thick steel into place and its now repaired.
Floor pan cut out and new one welded in - dont have finished picture as i forgot to take it before insulation wrap was stuck down.
Both rear arches were shot.
So we cut back to the good metal and welded new arches in.
They are now both sound.
Fuel tank back in
First coat of primer on.
First bit of colour, (front luggage compartment)
Front luggage compartment is now complete
The shell has now been sprayed
Colour coded the rear lights (before lacquer)
We're colour coding as much as possible, i beleive this is one of the most effective ways to bring a car up to date without it losing its original character, and keeping it very close to stock.
