This feature is of a 1985 Toyota MR2 MK1 AW11, 16v with 1.6 litre fuel injected engine.
If anyone can help, especially on where to source parts for a MK1 in the UK then i would be very grateful!!!
We purchased the car on 14th December 2007, and began working on stripping the car down the very next day.
Im going to be adding some pictures and details of this restoration as it happens.
UPDATE 13/06/09
We have since fitted an Adjustable CARBON FIBRE spoiler, we had a spare bootlid so filled the holes and resprayed it and fitted the spoiler to it, so we have two interchangeable bootlids from stock to aftermarket. Handy if we sell and the buyer prefers stock - then its only a 10minute change over,

The Mister two is now all complete and ready to go, just needs an M.O.T! Here are the latest pics, hope to get some better ones when its on-road.

THE DEUCE STARTED FIRST TIME!!! Great feeling!!! Electrics are all good, its practically finished, just waiting on a wndscreen, then fit the hood an wipers etc. I will add some finished pictures when this happens.
05/06/2008 The engine is now finished and back in the car (Page 2 - now connecting it all up, The body is almost ready for paint (Page 3)
We have the paint ready - its like Gun Metal, with a hint of copper. Very Heavy Mettalic.

This is the beginning of it all! -
First things first, so we are currently stripping down the car. We stripped out the interior, boot and front luggage compartment first.
Then stripped the body down, working from the front - including front bumper, pop up lights, front wings doors and windscreen.
We have uncovered various rust areas, as expected - but not as bad as the previous owner had made us think!!!
This picture shows the worst part so far - on the nearside skuttle.
We now have the car totally stripped, and have removed the engine.
