This is what I had to start with 'ol rusty.

Once I decided the direction of the build and chose to find a new body I stripped it down to rolling chassis.

It's amazing what 3 hours and a few good friends can help you accomplish, this is the new body from an '81 two wheel drive.
Can you believe I bought the donor truck and the new front clip for only 400 bucks.

Then I added the '91 suburban front clip to give an updated look.

Loading it up to put in storage til spring when I can finish the rest of the work.

Plans for this spring include paint the front clip to match the rest of the truck, TPI 383, rear disc brakes, new lenses for the front and led light conversion for the rear.

Your off to a good start. With a little bit of time and a whole lot of money, that truck will go a long way!

your Chevy is looking good, mean and ready for some major off-roadin or maybe some car crunching mahem. There is so much that can be done to them. What's next on the to do list for it? I have a Dodge, it has a few mods. I Don't think it would do very well off road, not like your ride.
