this is the very first picture i took when i got the car in 2006 april. it was a really lucky found. 1989 base model with sr20det. it already had some modifies like greddy FMIC, stage 1 racing clutch, fidenza flywheel, B&M short shifter, 180sx seats, lowered on springs and shocks, front and rear cusco bar, front and rear whiteline sway bars, nismo front brace, JIC ti cat back, bitz DP, momo wheel, greddy boost guage, 18" rims.
after a month or so, i had put in the first mod, 5 lug conversion with 300zx front brake, s14 SE wheels went on it. then i lowered it more with Tein HE coilovers. first picture taken.

i also put on the stock tailights. went i got the car, it came with some altezza style tailights. so weird........

the main reason for doing the 5lug swap was becuase i wanna keep my TE37 from my MR2. after i put on it, i thought it looks better on MR2.

went to take some pictures with my friends. they bought their 240sx couple months after i did. one 97 s14 kouki, and the other is 96 s14 with s15 front end. my car still looked ugly between them...

between the year, i didnt do much on it. put new koyo alumunum radiator, kouki spoiler, tailights and R32 GTR wheels which looked really nice. i had played around with a weld diff for drifting. it was pretty fun and cheap, but, it was too loud for me, and people will think that ur car is broken or sth when they see u park ur car. which i dont like that.
after i was back from my summer holiday in HK, i started to put crazy money into this babe. first i bought a Bride Brix seat and rail, then nismo 2way LSD, then kouki front end. then...
here goes my custom paint job. the color was sti black. u will see a little gold under the sun.

bondo...

after it drys out, send it down. (i reply the bondo and send for like 3 times, well, the first time i do bodywork..)

after all that, starting to tape and paint the door jam. that way i dont have to worry about open and close the door while painting the body.
