Since I've had the Celica, the driver door has ever so slightly been rubbing the front fender when I open and close it because of the wore out door hinges.  So I finally got around to making some shims to push the door back to the correct placement so that it doesn't touch the fender and the clearance is better.  It's nothing that's really visible from pictures, but while I was doing the work I had the front fender off and decided to take some pictures for reference in the future.  You can see the tire just barely touching the firewall at the back in the second picture.  The 4th is showcasing how the Battle Version negative roll center adjusters are installed.  And the ruler is measuring the clearance of the wheels to the strut casing (the wheels are 15X7 +15mm offset, with 195/50 tires).

I didn't change anything here, but I am finally getting around to uploading some pics of the front suspension.  Next time I detail down there I'll take some better pictures.  Custsom shortened strut casing with Koni Yellow race shocks, Battle Version negative RC adjusters, Ground Control coil overs.

I had been looking for a long time to get a set of QA1 adjustable shocks for the 86 Crown Vic, and so I finally got them......but they are for the Celica.  Odly enough the shocks in the rear are interchangable.  SO the not-so-old Bilsteins are going on the Vic.  The QA1s are amazing!  The soft setting finally lets me put this car to a neutral setup.  I can even consider turning the front shocks down some!  And they are very pretty too!

I replaced the panhard bar today, not entirely necessary. I had to replace one of the heim joints, so I ended up replacing both of them and ended up getting a new pretty aluminum bar since it was only $11 from SpeedwayMotors.Com. I put an ultra heavy duty Chrome Molly heim joint on the body end, and an ultra light aluminum one on the axle end. We'll see how the aluminum one holds up, hope it works out.

Nice job on your Celica, its really nice to see older Celicas tear up the track :) I am part of a site called TuneMyToyota.com which is for performance Toyotas and I think you would like it. My name is Rebel, I'm a moderator on there and look forward to seeing you join.
