Ok. This page is for my 1980 Datsun 280zx. I've decided to sell my BMW and restore this so i can go back to school. This page will trace my progress (or lack thereof.) And just maybe i'll have this done by late spring to mid summer.

Well there she be. In heated storage right where she belongs right now. It looks fine from there, but look underneath and you'll see a nice rusted frame rail (not to the point where it affects the structural integrity) and some rusted rocker panels. If you look REAL closely you'll see on the floorpans where they turn up into the engine compartment there are some nice nasty rust spots. And they are my firts order of business. All rust on this car is going. I am stripping it down completely.

I thought that was a nice shot minus the ugly machine shop decor. I'm going to repaint the car and i need some input as to what color to do it in. Keep in mind that I am doing everything myself besides the welding...and i may even end up attempting that.

There's the heart of the beast. Kinda crusty looking now but when I'm done with her it'll shine. New hoses everywhere and repaint the tubing.
