Aug.22.05:
Well ok its been a long time since i've updated but anyways after i finished installing the new turbo and whatnot i took it around the block a few times and blew my piston rings. I was going to replace'em and the headgasket but i've decided to hold off and build the motor over the winter. Mind as well since i'll be tearing the motor apart. So the car will be in hibernation til early spring/summer 06.
So to i had to find something else to keep my "speed" addiction in check, and found myself a 00 kawasaki zx6r ninja for now til the snow falls.
july.1.05:
Well yea finished everything technically last night, took it for a few beat runs down the street and didn't run as great as i'd thought it'd run (major boost lag due to being untuned). Well today i decided to take it for another beat run before it goes on the dyno, and well i toasted my piston rings. First thing next week i'm gonna order up the new parts i need and hopefully i can be done within the next week or two.
june.25.05:
turbo is bolted on, i/c piping mocked up, oil lines run, injectors installed. Only the downpipe and z32 maf need to be done and she should be running. Hopefully she can get on the dyno and get tuned shortly there after and lets see if i can hit my minimum hp goal of ~330rwhp.
june.22.05:
Turbo seals on the t25 are toast, guess they couldn't handle 1bar of boost daily for a year. She still pulls hard tho lol, dyno'd it with the seals bad and still put down 262whp.
Anyways, new turbo is going in ahead of schedule. Here's a list of new parts going in and hopefully have it running within the next few days;

Well as u noticed the car is flat black now. Motor is the same except a few minor bolt-on's. Got the car dyno'd again last night using e-manage to tune it. 260whp was about my average, which is where it should be. Car is gutted now so hopefully at the next drag event (18th) i can run my goal of high 11's. More updates to follow...

Been awhile since i updated. Anyways i went on vacation on 11/7 to - 11/21 to Orlando FL. Drove the 240 down 1300mi each way! Blew an alternator while i was down there, thankfully there are some nice people there to help me out. I even brough down my BFG street slicks with me to see how i'd run at the track......lets just say i wasn't one bit pleased.
Anyways as soon as i find a winter beater i'm completely rebuilding the car from the ground up. I'd like to prepare the motor for about 500-600hp, i'm not sure what my power goal is yet but if i prep the motor to handle that power i'll be in the safe range as long as i don't go overboard. I'll be updating as i go along.

Man what a great week for me, i attended New England Dragways last Import Wars event. And pulled my best times ever! 12.3 consistantly. Last weds i managed a 12.8 with open diff, so on friday night my friend and me installed my KAAZ 2-way diff. That right there was one of the best mods i invested in, it shaved .5 on my 1/4mi times.

Finally got my BFGoodrich T/A Drag radials on my 17x7.5 Kosei K1's. AND finally ran my 12.8@110. KAAZ LSD in coming in the mail today from CIP Racing so friday and saturday i hope to shave a few tenths of a second off my times.

Got my pignose lip on, and also got a VIS carbon fiber hood (thanks to T3 Motorsports of Boston). Went to the track last night with the car gutted and didn't do as well as i'd like, only got 1 run in and pulled a 13.2 @110. Few weeks ago i ran a 13.1 @108 with full interior so i was hoping to beat that. Oh well LSD & slicks are on the way so hopefully high 12's are up next.

Been awhile since i've updated, ran a 13.2 @108 the other day on the 1/4mi. Not what i expected since i messed up pretty bad. But it'll do til the next time i make it up the track.

Swap is DONE! After many sleepless nights and busted knuckles i finally managed to finish the project. She's running strong, hell even better than it ran with the KA. I've got a shietload of plans for it in the future so check back and sign my guestbook.
