The History
I bought this 1970 Ford F-100 back in May of 2003. A little history on this truck. As I was driving to the bingo hall in Batavia, IL I drove pass this truck that had a for sale sign on it. I stop to ask how much and to check it out. I looked it over and fell in love with it. Forget bingo I found my jackpot.
I talked with they guy for little over an hour. I went home to think about it and decided to buy it. I couldn't pass this truck up. It was just in too good of condition. The reason he was selling is that he decided to move to Hawaii.
He owned it for almost a year. He was the second owner. The person he bought it from was back in Kentucky. Here is the story he told me. The man that originally owned it bought it for his rocking chair business. He bought this truck only for going to the lumbar yard, and once his rocking chairs were completed to drop them off at the store.
The bed is in pristine condition, it only has two very small dents that you really have to look for to find them. The back bed rail is straight as an arrow. The tail gate is also in great shape, no common dents or dings. This truck definitely was not used and abused. The man that originally owned it passed away and the two sons inherited it. The two sons decided it was time to sell the truck. So he towed it all the way to Batavia, IL from Bartlett, Kentucky.
So from Kentucky to Illinois, and finally to Nampa Idaho. This truck almost has been from coast to coast. I am the 3rd proud owner of this truck and the last owner. It only had 53,000 miles on it when I took possession. The truck has been repainted since 1970. The original paint color was New Lime Green. I can see why it was repainted.

This picture was taken in March of 2004 at the Langum Park in Saint Charles, IL . I washed and waxed it after a long winter under a truck cover. I can't believe how filthy it was after I uncovered it. I started in the morning and didn't finish until about 3:30pm.

As I was taking pictures of my all polished up truck. Saint Charles, IL finest (police cruiser) decided to see what I was up to. He was interested in seeing my classic truck and to shoot the shit for a couple of minutes about it.

This truck has received many complements about how aswome it is. From people everywhere just shouting it out at a stop light or a stop sign to a guy on a Harley just to say you got a sweet lookin truck. When I am in a parking lot people would just come and look and/or talk about it.
