boosta89's 1983 Porsche 944

Welcome to the page for my 83 944. This car has had many replacements and Upgrades and is my daily driver. I have owned this car for about two years. Prior to that it belonged to my father who sold it to a friend who abused it and then gave it away to another of my father's friends. This was the first Porsche we had ever owned and eventually we ended up owning it again. This became my project and to many repairs and replacments later it is a reliable daily driver than i can achieve 30+ mpg with thanks to the 4cyl under the bonnet. Hopefully the car will end up better than my last one.

This happened October 2006 after i had had my license for only six months. A note to any parents a Porsche is a Porsche even if it only has a four cyl. let your child get some real driving experience before letting him have a vehicle that is about as addictive as meth. Anyway, we have owned several Porsches over the years including a 78 930, a 80 928 european S, and an 87 951.

Very nice ride man.Showed my son the "I thought it was a good idea at the time shots" he has our 1982 RX7 with 126,000 kms on the clock.I found you asking a question about telling the difference between a Euro and US 928.Very simple the VIN tells all.If it has ZZZ as the 4th-6th digits it's a Euro if it has JBO in the same position it's a US model.Hope that helps.Keep up the good work on her.5 stars.
