Carl's 99 Nissan Maxima SE
This is my Maxima. Currently it is my everyday driver and has over 154000 miles on it. I really like this car and intend to keep it for a long time. I bought it April of 2005 for dirt cheap. The dealership got it on trade-in but it had that cheap stick-on wood grain and it was pealing off all over the place so no one was buying it. They had it for over 3 months when I came in and saw it. It was priced to move and my wife and I knew we could remove all the stickers in an hour so we bought it. Since then it has been an amazing car. I've had to do minimal repairs and have done all the work myself.
I'm using this page more or less as a log for all the things that I intend to do to the car. Some have already been done, others are in the process. But first the car. Back in the summer of 2006 was the last time I had to wash and wax the car. All these pictures were taken after I finished just as the sun was setting.
The sun was hitting the car just right for this pic.
These rims looked brand new when I was done. I took each one off the car and scrubbed them with degreaser to make them look like that.
