2-29-08 Got the TR7 box installed for my Alpine head unit. It works great, no switches to mess with, just tie this little box onto the harness and it does it all for you. Also, I got my GPS system in. It's a Roadmate FD71, got it on ebay. It installed in minutes.

This is the face of the GPS unit. The put up the wiring harness to show yall what it looks like.

And here is where it's going to go, on the top of the dash in the middle, above the radio bezel.

Pop out the radio bezel and you will encounter two screws holding the top piece into place. Remove the screws then remove the center.

There's a plug connected to the line-in jack. I decided to neglect it's existence cuz I wouldn't be needing it anymore.

After removal, this is what you're left with...

Tuck the GPS harness behind the radio ad disconnect the OEM harness and plug it into the GPS harness. It acutally serves as a pass-thru so that harness will go back into your radio.

After that's all connected, install the GPS unit on the top of the dash. First lock in the plastic pins on the back side then snap in the center and screw in the front.

My DVD player finally playing videos. I installed the PAC-TR7 box and she works like a charm! Just connect and go and it does the rest for the life of your head unit. Transformers, awesome movie.

This is my 12.5" Diesel Audio flip-down monitor, courtesy install of Fry's Electronics.

Thanks to my slow camera, now no one can see the nice picture clarity of the monitor. But that's okay, I'm sure yall can get a clue as to which movie I'm seeing right now.

sick box dude. fyi you cant only wire one voice coil per sub. it will throw the motor structure on the speaker lopsided. your better off wiring one sub in parralell and dont hook the other sub up at all and use it as a radiator.
