This jeep was a gift to me on my 15th birthday from my dad. It is 95% rust free and the whole body and frame is very clean and straight for being 20+ years old. I drive it daily and it has yet to disappoint me.

Specs:
258 AMC I6 Engine
Howell TBI system
T5 Trans mated with a Dana 300
Stock 20 gas tank
Grant steering wheel
JVC Head unit
Rugged ridge seats
KC lights that are too bright for the street. :)

Before I did anything to it this is what she looked like.

Spent the day cleaning her up and this is what was underneath all that dirt.

The engine rebuild is finished, the engine is back in service and nearly broken in. I've put 2,500 miles on the new engine and I think it is to the point where it can be considered reliable. I don't know what kind of power this new engine is giving me but I am very happy with it. Tires will spin easily in 1st and I can tap them in 2nd and I still have considerable power in overdrive. Mileage? With the EFI setup I am getting about 18, and that is not with a conservative right foot.

The best upgrade I ever made to it was to add a Howell TBI system. Makes it run perfect every time and really brings out some power.

The paint and stripes are custom from the AMC factory. I am going to have it repainted the same color soon. Photos of that to come.

Sweet CJ! I have a an '84 CJ7 and I'm wondering how you get that 18 mpg. I get about 10. What size tires are you using? And how'd you do your steps? I have to drive my little sister around in my CJ and she can have trouble getting up into it. The only steps I've found will cost at least $200.Looks nice! Its always great to see another CJ.

Very nice CJ. Swapping a HEMI into that should't be too hard....I know a great shop. :) Thanks for stopping by and checking mine out. You have been rated as well.

Killer Jeep! Sounds like you know what you're doing with it and how you want it to look when you're done lol. Truth is,,,, when you own a Jeep you never finish it because one modification initiates another. Been there, can't stop doing it lol. God Bless Ya
