This jeep was a gift to me on my 15th birthday from my dad. It is 95% rust free and the whole body and frame is very clean and straight for being 20+ years old. I drive it daily and it has yet to disappoint me.

Specs:
258 AMC I6 Engine
Howell TBI system
T5 Trans mated with a Dana 300
Stock 20 gas tank
Grant steering wheel
JVC Head unit
Rugged ridge seats
KC lights that are too bright for the street. :)

Before I did anything to it this is what she looked like.

Spent the day cleaning her up and this is what was underneath all that dirt.

The engine rebuild is finished, the engine is back in service and nearly broken in. I've put 2,500 miles on the new engine and I think it is to the point where it can be considered reliable. I don't know what kind of power this new engine is giving me but I am very happy with it. Tires will spin easily in 1st and I can tap them in 2nd and I still have considerable power in overdrive. Mileage? With the EFI setup I am getting about 17, and that is not with a conservative right foot.

The best upgrade I ever made to it was to add a Howell TBI system. Makes it run perfect every time and really brings out some power.

The paint and stripes are custom from the AMC factory. I am going to have it repainted the same color soon. Photos of that to come.
