Rusty trunk floor
The floor panel is removed from the spot welds
The center section is not available so must be reused
Side replacements are made up and welded to the chassis members, which have already been derusted and prepaired.
The old center section is installed with spot welds, The machine would just reach. The new rear floor and wings are installed with point welds.
New lower repair panels didn't fit. The hand made rear lower panel (dobbelkrumning) fit perfectly.
The result is quite nice.
Painted nicely on the bottom
The rear is offered up to the main tub and welded in place
Reinforcement corners are shapped wrongly and are modified.
Internal structure is finished up and rust protected prior to the repair panel being installed
Damper mounting plates are installed and all is seam sealed. A mount has been made for an electric fuel pump.
Epoxy primer for rust protection.
