


While I don't have any pictures of this part of the restoration, but While we had the engine out, we installed a new racing clutch kit, had the power rack sent off for a complete rebuild. for the front end.., sent the trans out for rebuild. sent the radiator out to be restored,
The drive shaft & rear end are stock,. but will be installing the T5 5 speed trans & 8.8 posi 3.75 rear end when we do the turbo conversion...
Car has aftermarket 14in. aluminum wheels, with modified to fit ford caps from a lx mustang..
brand new BF Goodrich tires on the back.. fronts have over 50% tread & are rain tires.. But as soon as find the right size bf radials that wont scrub.. they will go be going on the front. If any is currently running bf radial on the front of there pinto, let me know the sizes..lol

As for where we are going with this gal, it's going to be a full retro/modern restoration.

INTERIOR:
the interior will recieve full customization with late model mustang/ford aftermarket interior.
NAV/TV screens,dvd,ps2, all the good stuff. we are going to work hard at hiding & molding everything in for a clean factory look.

BODY/EXTERIOR
the body and exterior, of corse we are finshing the paint job asap.
we are going to install a hot pants body kit when they become available & in the mean time
I am working on molding in turbo louvers on a set a fenders that will be installed at the same time.. I am going to install graphics or airbrushing on the hood & side panels of the car.most likely a flamed job.
I am also having custom emblems designed & made for the fenders, & rear hatch.

we are going to be installing a 350+hp 2.3 Turbo motor, a T5 five speend manual transmission will replace the factory 4.
a 8.8 posi traction rear end with 3.75 gears will go under the rear.
5 lug conversion with 15-16 in custom wheels, & full racing brake kit,
