


The interior was near perfect when I purchased it,
I did restore the factory sport steering wheel, installed new shifter, boot, & knob.
seat covers are perfect, front & back.. all gauges & warning light have all been rebuilt, all in great shape & work properly..rear defrost even works,.
future mods:
we will be going full modern retro with this gal.
mod's include fully custom door panels, power windows & door locks, custom rear panels, flip up 7in nav/tv for the front dash & rear seats, dvd player, & a 20in flip down screen in the rear gate with a ps2.. I will be fitting it with late model mustang interior/ ford racing seats etc. All stereo componets will be molded into the interior for a nice clean, factory look..

I run a sparky's tuned DX 45MP, there is a 6ga. quick disconect under the passenger seat where a 700 watt Midnight Special linear sits.. HD bumber mounted bracket for a 102in. steel whip. last checked swr's were at 1.2
I have DXed all over the U.S from this car!

Car was taken apart, stripped,a coat of apoxy was applied over the metal, all body work was then done., was was in great shape! only found one spot of rust dime sized on the whole car. She was then primed in & has been blocked sanded/primed out 3 times, & primed & water sanded 2 times..
I put the final coat of apoxy primer on 12-24-08.
&
she will be water blocked one more time before the final color goes on..
jams have already been done in metallic candy apple, but we may be changing the cars color.. & redoing them..

Under the hood I chose to go with a satin black finish, as I didn't want to take away from the motor. it too was stripped ,sanded, primed, & painted. picture taken after the wiring harness was reinstalled.

I took a 1979 mustang GT hood scoop & molded it in to the pinto's hood!
There is also a new fiberglass front valance & a NOS rear bumber valance installed.
as soon as we get our hands on one, we will be installing the pinto hot pants
body kit, & lowering the car about 1 1/2- 2 inches.
also debating on installing turbo louvers on the front fender.
