Hi to all out there in car land my name is Kriss and this is my 53 plate SMART ROADSTER.

kr155's 2003 smart roadster

kr155's 2003 smart roadsterI bought the car in July 2007 it started life with me as a 80 bhp Dark blue knotch back (I think the colour was called Wave Blue) roadster . Since then I have made some changes starting with a trip to Wellsmart so they could work there magic this consists of the Digi tech re-map (now pushing a solid 1.4 bar) whilst there I had the TIK hose and intercooler hoses swapped for the silicon ones also having a Jetex air filter fitted at the same time this has given it a big boost in power.

After this it went back Plymouth for a custom exhaust system curtasy of Ronin Systems 2 1/2 inch straight off the turbo with some very cool lobster cut bends and a sports cat once this was all done it was time to turn attention to the sounds

This was to start with an Alpine head unit (CDA-9855R), then speakers- Rockford Fosgate (P1525) 5 and a quarter inch and one 10 inch Rochford Fosgate sub-woofer (PTD48).This is driven by two Rochford Rosgate amps -a Punch 60 DMS and a Punch 40 DMS these amps are old, but have awesomne sound quality. All of the cables are Zero noise made by Street wires. To finish this off i have installed a 1.5 farrad power cap (pinched from my mrs cosworth ha ha) she will never miss it !!.
So that completed the stereo part of my car next to the body work:

Next it was time for the bodywork
First came the lambo doors i chose the LSD kit as i thought it was the best quality. The doors were fitted at the same time it was re-sprayed, i have gone for another blue which has been used on some Alfa's. It is called Novola blue which i think sets the car off nicely, i also have had the roof bars painted the same colour as the tridam (star silver ??). The paint work only took 5 days from stripping down, fitting doors, painting and reasembly.
