This is my 1988 Dodge Dakota 4x4. It is equipped with a 3.9 liter V6 engine with throttle body injection. It has a 3 speed with overdrive automatic trans. It has over 226k miles on it but the transmission probably has around 60k because it was rebuilt and its on its second engine which is probably around 70k. My Dakota is has a very good body for being so old, there is really no rust on this except for the tail gate. There is a few pin hole marks here but other then the bottom of the tailgate it is in really good shape. She needs a new paint job though, the almost 20 year old paint is starting to show its age and the clear coat is peeling slightly on the hood and on the roof its flaking pretty good, my constant offroading probably doesnt help the paint either. So i might be getting a new paint job soon if i run into some money, but i have no idea what color i would paint it. As far as aftermarket parts go, you can see the "239 Power" decals i installed on both sides of the truck under the dakota emblems ( and yes, a few bullet holes that are fake), it has bumper push bars or whatever you want to call then on the front and recently i have put some offroad lights between these bars, even though i dont have a pic of those yet. It has stupid little things on the inside like a dodge steering wheel cover (due to the fact that the original steering wheel is starting to melt and get sticky) and a seat cover to cover up the rips in the old one. It has a soft Tonneau cover over the bed. It has slightly oversized Goodyear Wrangler tires on the stock wheels. As far as performance upgrades go it has a Posi-Traction rear end, a K&N air filter, a Flamethrower iginiton coil, and a Thrush Magnum glasspack muffler (however because of the Dakota's very small 2 inch exhaust piping and its low exhaust output, this muffler has failed to make my truck that loud at all over stock).

This is a pic of me on some pretty hardcore pipeline trails. the picture doesnt really do it justice.
After a pretty hardcore day of muddin. flying the dodge flag on the antenna as usual.
239 power decals are completely custom...if not a little untrue.

A pretty intense hill climb conquered once again.
cruisin.
