This was the first picture I saw of him. I then thought, emm.. I like this.

So there he was, in all his glory. My brother and I flew to Johannesburg from Cape Town and drove another 300 odd Km's to see it for the first time. We had a look and thought, hey... we do not have any return tickets home, we may as well drive the 2000 odd Km's back down to Cape Town. Anyway, so we did.
This is my first V8, planning on doing her up a bit, nothing major, maybe, dont know yet, but we'll see. We allways had V6's in our family. My father loves a 3Lt and up.

My uncle in Villiersdorp on a farm has a Pontiac 1967 original silver blue metallic - we are using it for my daughter's matric dance. The car has just under 60000 on the clock. Maybe if I put some photos together I can add them somewhere here.... Cape Town.

Johann, thanks for the comments on my 69'. Your's is the first picture I've ever seen of a SA 69' Parisienne! Great road trip shots! Looks to be in very good shape, except for your front upper control arm bushings, lol! Evedenced by your front on shot of the car coming down the highway! Big Camber! Looks like mine when I brought it home. Here's a link to some pictures mostly relating to our type of car. Check it out. http://www.flickr.com/photos/7822276@N03/sets/

Baie interessante fotos....natuurskoon is baie mooi daar!...
Groetnis.
Anton
