So this is the story of my 89 formula firebird. lets start with the basics here. The motor is a 305 TPI motor. The motor from what the owner said was rebuilt at 100k, but from how the motor responds and acts i am starting to question that. The transmission is an automatic also rebuilt (there was paperwork to prove this) with a shift kit installed. I paid 2000 for the car. Now here is where it gets good. I had the car for 18 hours and a truck decided to try and cut across two lanes to get to a turn lane so cut infont of a line of cars infront of me and my friend. Everyone slames on their brakes and stops but me i go straight into the back of my friend. Now the total damage to his car was a rear bumper. My damage was... well... you will see. But my car is almost where she should be. So these following pages will be the start and maybe just maybe the finish of my bird.
