Today [1-30-2008] we wet to confirm the date when we are going to take the mini for the complete respray. It will be taken on 11-2-2008 and so the transformation begins =].

As the respray date is getting closer, I order some more parts over the net. the list below are the things I orderd.

BONNET FRONT DRAIN RUBBER SEAL
2 WINDOW INSIDE SEAL CHROME EDGE
HANDLE SET EXTERIOR CHROME MK3 ON INC BOOT
2 QUARTER LIGHT OPENING SEAL
2 WINDSCREEN CHROME FILLER CLIP
BOOT RUBBER LATE TYPE 1988
GRILLE PIECE THIN TOP SEAL FITS ON BONNET

WINDOW/DOOR OUTER CHROME CHANNEL KIT

Now all I Have to do is wait for the order to be confirmed and wait for all the new parts to arrive =D

Today [7-2-2008] all the things that I orderd arrived. It was really fast shipping and i was really pleased. Also last wednesday [6-2-2008] we visited the panel beater again and now the date is confirmed, we will be taking the mini for a respray on 12-2-2008. Below are the pictures of the things i bought:

It has been a week since we took the mini, and I haven't gone to visit it as I was a bit busy. Hopefully tomorrow [20-2-08] we are going to the sprayer and see the progress and take a couple of pictures of the car =D.

So today [14/3/2008] i made a visit to the sprayer. The paint from the car was almost all removed. Also the panel beater fixed several places where rust had eaten away completly all d metal. I got a little surprised when he started shownig me the parts where he had to fix, I never tought there was so much rust undearnath, hidden by the paint. Hopefully wedont get any more surprises.

Did you make a paper template for your speaker box? If so, I need one. That looks really good, and I am no carpenter.I saw your Mini while updating my forum and had to have a look. Check out my Mini and see if you don't agree, that we have a few things in common.Your car looks so much better since the color change. Post all new stuff when you can. I'll give you 5*****s, and add you to my friends list.
