Yesterday I test Fitted the grille i bought and...... TROUBLE.... i found out that the bonnet is bent and in a really bad shape and so the top chrome surrounf doesnt fit with the rest of the grille.
So now im searching for a new bonnet as while I was fitting it I found out it is really in a bad state with dents, rust and filled with filler
I managed to find a bonnet from anothe mini owner. He was really nice and helpful and when i wnet for the bonnet he showed me some other stuff that he has for sale.
I brought the bonnet home on 30/12/2007 so it was the last purches for the mini on the year 2007

NEW YEAR BRINGS MORE UPDATES =]
Today [3/1/2008] we went to visit the car sprayer to make an appointment so the mini gets one of the major make overs: a RESPRAY. we agreed to take it duringin the begining of febuary.
Now the only problem is which colour shall i choose: BLACK or BLUE with white roof?
Finaly i decided the colour of the mini =]. It will be sprayed gloss black with white roof and white bonnet stripes similiar to the one below

As the date of the respray is getting closer i m starting to buy all the required parts. Last Friday [11-1-2008] I went to a car part reseller and bought the front screen rubber and the rear screen rubber with the chrome inserts and the door rubber. now i still have to buy the rear quater windows rubber and the rubber will be ready
