Hey ya'll this is my newest addition to my herd, a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado that I bought from the car dealership I used to work at for $400.
It came nearly fully optioned-out, I'll dig up the original buildsheet.
It was originally cherry red, but somewhere along the line someone had it painted an ugly purple-maroon color.
It needs full restoration, but runs excellent with only 137,400-odd miles on the original 425-cubic inch V8 with Rochester 4-barrel carb.
I sold her almost a week ago to a friend who had always wanted one... He's the kind of guy that likes to drop cars and give them that air suspension stuff, he has essentially the same itinerary as I did, but he has the money to back it up.
Money comes in handy, these days.
