This is my first 1986 Buick Century Gran Sport I owned. I bought it in the early 90's and it showed 29,000 miles on the odometer. I only have a couple pictures of this car before it met its demise.

Another one of the few pictures I have of this car. I put it in car shows and cleaned it all the time.

This is right after I purchased the car. I wish the trunklid would have been down so it would have been a nicer shot.

Then on February 18 1991,my Ex was driving it to work and lost control of the car hitting a tree head-on then spinning it around and hitting the driver rear corner.

The car had moderate damage and was totalled by the insurance company. I looked it over and thought the damage wasn't that terrible. I asked a frame repair shop their opinion as well as friends who had a junkyard and body shop if they felt it could be resurrected. They both were in agreement,so I bought the car back and repaired it.

The car was assembled,painted and buffed. It looked and drove like a new car. I was thrilled again and we even made a few bucks each on the settlement,but I used my profits to buy new hard to locate parts for the car.
