Thanks!
First off, I want to give a shout out to all the people on ThirdGen.org that helped me get my car to where it is today! They know who they are...

Second, I would like to thank the following companies for providing great products for this neglected generation of Camaro. Thanks too, for helping rid these cars of the nicknames such as "mullet mobile," and turning them into the mean street machines many have made them.

My Car When Purchased
This is the first car I ever bought, and it cost me roughly $3,100. I'm proud to say it all came from my pocket. It was purchased in August of 2007 about a month after getting my license. It's a 1987 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z with a 305 TPI, 700r4 and a 10-bolt 2.73 limited slip drum rear end. I am autocrossing it so I will be focusing my upgrades mostly on the suspension and brake components, but since I'm still in high school that could take a year or two... but then again, 3 jobs provide a pretty good amount of cash.
The above photos are of my interior when I first purchased the car. It was all original except for the Sony head unit and infinity speekers. The seats were not ripped, the electronics all worked, the door seals were still good, it even has the not-so-common factory overhead counsel as an option. The only thing keeping the interior from being in absolute perfect condition is the worn leather steering wheel and the worn leather shift knob. Oh well, can't have everything...
The exterior is a little more rough. There is a dent (about the size of an average fist) on the front of the drivers side fender and there are paint chips scattered over the hood and front bumper... maybe the previous owner drove close behind someone on a gravel road? Other then that, the body is still in good shape. The paint is original, body panels are original, there is no visible rust and practically no surface rust under the car, and the "frame" is straight.
Not bad for a first car, especially when you consider its age...
