Update: 10/8/10-
Stock Gauges-------------Digital Gauges
24'' Boss Wheels
2'' Cowl Hood-------------Fog Lights
Update: 3/3/2010-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We finally finished installing the 5.3; it turned-on on the first try(we will be posting a video of the motor running later).
We swaped the original front disc brakes for '96 Impala disc brakes(cause they're bigger). Swaped the old drums out for the '96 Impala disc brake rear-end. We installed some drilled and slotted rotors and painted the calipers red. We also had to shorten up the drive-shaft. Plus we changed out all of the old bushings, ball joints, and installed new shocks.
Update: 1/28/2010-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today we took out the 305, painted the frame and firewall flat black, and dropped in the 5.3; now we're working on the wiring. As soon as the wiring is done we are going to install the'96 Impala rear end, get the exhaust done, and install a new drive shaft so we can test the new motor.
